LACIT DEVOS WAS HELD in  DIBRUGARH       UNIERSITY

Dibrugarh University Tai Ahom Sattro Homaj organised a programme on the occousion of birtday of mohabir  Lachit Borphukon The great leader of Assam on 24 novembor at Anuroddho bhobon .The greatting speech was given by Ritupon Dihingia a member of TASH Dibrugarh university.The meeting was presided over by Dr Pranjol Buraguhan professer of economics of DU.A valuable speech was delivered by chief guest Dr Kailyan Bhuyan professer of Physics on the topic 'The participation of Ahom in the construction of large assmeses society '.The students affair's den Dr Jeten Hazarika said in his speech that it is very sad things that only the ahom students union have to  arranged this programme but Lachit Borphukon was saved all the people of assam.So all the people of Assam should remember him.'When you are love your mother it doesn't mean that you are  hate others 'he said .

The tai ahom students were wear traditional dresses and they sang a national anthem of ahom in tai language .One student gave a Hasi  tree whis is declered as natonal tree of ahom to DUPGSU.In this progamme very meaningfull topic was discused like glory of ahom kingdom, nessecity of there idea in present context ,How and why they can survived for 600year ete.'We should follow the ideology of Lachit as he loved the country and save the country from a strong force . We are proud of him' said Dr taranath Duora professer of anthropology. Sunaram Gogoi( social worker )Anjan Chetia (assistant director of distance education ),Udipta Gogoi(Join secretary,all tai ahom satro hontha),Nipon Phukon (President of all tai ahom student union) are also present there.The programme was ended at 2.30Pm

    A Free health camp held in dibrugarh

On friday november 16th 2018 a free health camp was organised by the depertment of Pharmaceutcal Science and Indian Pharmaceutical Association ,Assam State branch on the occousion of 57th national Pharmacy week .This progrmme was started from 9.30AM on the depertment of pharmaceutical science of Dibrgarh University .The doctors of the Assam Medical College were perticipated in this programme to check the students of DU and the people nearby it.The specialists of general medicie,gynocology,dematology ,opthalomology ,paediatrics,surgery,cardiology and dentistry were present there.They organised some test,-blood pressure.blood suga ECG haemoglobin, uric acid .All the students of PS Dept.play different rule to maintain the decipline -registration ,to introdue people with the check up room ,test room and also help to give medicine.Accourding to students of registration desk around 500  people had registered and took the chance of free health camp.This programme was ended at 3.30PM

Green ,the colour which means peace ,refreshment etc. It is a colour of calmness ,relaxation also provides a sense of vitality.When we say 'green' we think about the green grass and tree. To maintain this green we should save our environment .Nowaday peoples are aware about the environment.

Dibrugarh university campus is full of green.This is famous as 'Nahoror dekh ' i.e a specific tree nahor give a beautiful identity to this university .This campus attracts all the people . There are some people for maintaing this campus Clean and green. Sometimes the student of this universitiy are also give self service for cleanning this campus .

This clean and green campus encourge the student to learn .This campus seems like a green village .The golden light occous before sunrise and sunsine touches the leafs of the tree .The big trees  covered like an  ambrella to save the student from the sunlight.
